Pause Buddy is the result of my inspiration when I needed to take my sister's phone due to her social media addiction. It addresses the challenges of social media addiction among teenagers by combining gamification and utility to make the experience enjoyable. In a world where connecting with others globally is fun but addictive, Pause Buddy provides a real solution.

OBJECTIVE
Pause Buddy aims to combat teenage social media addiction via engaging gamification and utility.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Pause Buddy specifically caters to teenagers aged 13-18, acknowledging their unique social media usage patterns and needs.
FEATURES
Gamified challenges, user-friendly interface, goal-setting, and time management tools enhance user experience.
UTILITY FEATURES
Beyond gamification, Pause Buddy includes utility features such as customizable usage limits, activity tracking, and a distraction-free mode to encourage mindful social media use.
REFLECTION
Journey revealed complexities of social media addiction and technology's potential for positive impact.
